On Christmas Eve at around 10:30pm I went to enter and was asked to remove my hat, which I did not wish to do as I have a medical condition that I cover up. After seeing that a number of people were entering wearing hats at around 12:00am I decided to queue up, I was actually willing to remove my hat to enter, as several of my friends were in the bar. I waited in the queue for over 30 minutes. When it was my turn to enter, the bouncer told me to leave as I had previously gone elsewhere so I could keep my hat on, clearly unrelated to my attempt to enter as this point. I said I would take my hat off if I had to, at which point the bouncer ridiculed my condition in a rude and discriminating manner. I had hoped that Salisbury had recovered from being in the news this year. It is unfortunate that whilst the City remains desperate for trade, there remain small minded individuals that serve their own discriminating agenda and do not consider that their actions may detriment the holidays for sick people such as myself. It really does only take a handful of ignoramuses to remove prosperity for a small town/city. Discrimination has no place in today's society, nor should it be tolerated. This bar has set the standards as low as possible. Merry Christmas Kludo, I will take this as far as I can.
